Anti stalking law in Japan?
I tried googling it but didnt managed to get a clear view of the act? Story: my friend went to japan with his family and somehow his brother got caught stalking/following a minor home. Bear in mind my friend and his family do not speak japanese at all so it was a disadvantage there as the police there dont converse in english either. Long story short, they were fined i think few hundred thousand yen but the victim and her family refused to meet nor discuss other compensation. Til date he hasnt been able to meet his brother as the officers do not allow them to meet unless u know how to speak japanese. What will be the worst case scenario ? We know that his brother will have to go to court. But we are not sure about the laws there. My friend been stuck at japan for 3 weeks because of this.
Nevertheless, his brother deserves the punishment 😐
